Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child one of Richard McCormick. Her father was a schoolteacher and her mom was a stay-at-home mother. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. From a young age McCormick loved to sing and dance and would often perform puppet shows for the neighborhood children. In the year she turned 6, McCormick won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called McCormick to inquire if the actress would be looking to pursue a career in showbusiness. McCormick's first job as a professional was during 1964, where she was featured in a TV commercial for Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. That same year, she was featured in another commercial that aired on TV for Chatty-Cathy's doll. After that, she was chosen by La Jolla Playhouse to play the role of the character It up before It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was in the company of over 1200 other kids to play the eldest towheaded daughter in The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed newlyweds, who shared the same family as a blended one. The five-year run of the show proved to be a huge great success. In her book Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice published in 2008 McCormick revealed that during the fifth season of the show, she almost lost her virginity to her screen brother and co-star Barry Williams. She was 16 years old at the time and he was just 19. We would've had a couple, she added. The timing, however, wasn't right.
